Modular madness.
One very unique aspect of our pedalboard design, and one that we're quite excited about, is that you can combine smaller Dwarfboard -blocks with our bigger pedalboard kits. Below you can see a Dwarfboard unit attached on top of a Rackboard. With this design you can have a detachable "second level" of pedals you don't always need to carry around.
Let's say you have, for example, some pedals you use generally in your amps effects loop. You might have a quick gig where you don't have the time to setup up all the cables going back and forth between your amp and your pedalboard. With the bi-plane setup you can just unplug the cables, remove the couple of screws holding the whole module in place and leave it at home.
Or vice versa: If you have a few pedals you are always using, but only sometimes want to carry a larger effect setup around, you can haul your light Dwarfboard around in your backpack all the time and just mount it on the bigger board for that bigger gig.
Bi-plane
- Easily change effect setups from minimal to extensive.
- Save time during setup when you dont have to worry about effects you are not using anyway.
- Want to keep a certain chain of pedals ready for use, but would like to experiment with something new without wanting to rebuild your whole setup?
- Use a Dwarfboard unit as a testbed. Easily switch between your "tried and tested" chain of devices and your new, more experimental one.
- Switch between an extremely light Dwarfboard for small practice sessions / jams and a bigger effectt setup for the big gig.
- You'll always have room for one more pedal...
